We Say Goodbye To Robert – For A While!
Just to let you know that this Friday will be Robert’s last day to work for us this year. He is going back to Zimbabwe primarily to sort out his ID documents/ Passport/ Work permit etc. Obviously he will also spend Christmas with his family and do a little work on his new house.
The minimum time he will be away from Greymont will be 3-4 weeks; this all depends on how quickly his documentation is sorted out. I did mention to him that he will be getting a bonus this Friday from us, which he is over the moon about! He wanted me to say thanks to all of you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
In the time he is away there will be no work done that Robert usually does, so it is up to all of us to help and assist in keeping not only our Park litter free but also the surrounding streets. This will be a real test to see how community conscious residents are and how much Greymont really means to all of us!
I thank all of you who have contributed especially financially over the past year to enable us to employ such a dedicated and loyal worker that we have in Robert. Please continue to contribute in Robert’s absence as we need to build up our finances for the new year. May you all have a fantastic festive season filled with peace and joy with family, friends and loved ones. Above all – stay safe!!
