VERY IMPORTANT MEETING!!! – Application to authorise ‘Low Cost’ housing in Bergbron
MEETING DELAYED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!
Canceled due to an late change in venue. We are awaiting a new date and venue from Prism to do the Public Participation Process (PPP) as is required for an Environmental Impact Assesement (EIA)
This may not be in Greymont but most assuredly would affect us.
PRISM Environmental Management Services is having a meeting to discuss the authorization of the development of ‘Low cost’ housing of Bergbron Ext 14.
Included in the Agenda ( Full Agenda here ) is:
- 5.1 ‘Low cost’ housing
- 5.2 High density development
- 5.7 Traffic concerns
- 5.8 Decline in property values
- 5.9 Increase in crime levels
- 5.10 Noise and air pollution
- 5.11 Destruction of ecosystem
ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATION: PROPOSED BERGBRON EXT 14 SITUATED ON THE REMAINDER OF PORTION 57 OF THE FARM WATERVAL 211 IQ – PUBLIC MEETING
The above mentioned proposed township and application for Environmental Authorisation, have reference.
Concerns raised by the public as part of the Public Participation Process will be addressed and included in the Comment and Responses report, for submission along with the application. The purpose of this meeting will be to formally address these concerns and facilitate mitigation measures, where possible.

To address concerns raised by residents in the surrounding area, relevant to the environmental application to authorise the development of Bergbron Ext 14, we are scheduling a public meeting as follows:
