Pikitup award given by GRF
The Greymont Residents Forum has the great pleasure in awarding PIKITUP – WATERVAL DEPOT with the “Service Excellence Award” in giving exemplary service especially to the Forum and to Greymont as a whole.
This award is given to the management and staff of Pikitup and who are the first recipients,
in having displayed ongoing excellence in service to Greymont, in the following categories:
1. Community dedication and commitment – by their willingness to meet with us in meetings, helping by providing skips, bags and gloves on many occasions when we had clean-up campaigns, encouraging the community to be involved in recycling by providing us with additional bags for this purpose, by providing 5 ‘no dumping’ signs, always taking away the many bags we fill up around Greymont and jointly trying to reach solutions to regulate informal pickers.
2. Their attitude – This is one of their strengths. They are always very willing to help. They do so with friendliness, professionalism, efficiency and are very quick to oblige whenever we need their assistance.
3.Communication – The management and staff always answer their phones immediately and help is often immediate. They are always helpful, friendly and very reliable. No task is too great for them to do. Emails are responded to quickly and they are always ready to meet us on site, at our meetings or at their depot.
These are just a few outstanding qualities that the staff at Pikitup Waterval Depot exhibit.
They are a beacon of hope for all and their attitude of service delivery excellence is a model that all connected to the City Of Joburg should try to emulate.
It is with great pleasure and honour that we hand over this award on behalf of the Greymont Residents Forum to Rochelle Ludick the Regional Manager of Pikitup –Waterval depot.
CLIVE MALHERBE – CHAIRPERSON – GREYMONT RESIDENTS FORUM.
